PointVibe vs Fresha
Fresha is a booking platform with a marketplace, built-in payments and a loyalty add-on. PointVibe is built around the loyalty card itself: a pass in the customer's Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with bookings on the same customer record. Here is how they differ, from each company's own pricing and help pages.
PointVibe and Fresha, compared
An honest answer
Fresha is the better fit if
- You want new clients to find you through a marketplace, and accept a commission on each one.
- You want booking, card payments and point of sale from one company.
- You are a solo professional and loyalty is not a priority, since Fresha's entry price is lower.
PointVibe is the better fit if
- You want the loyalty card on your client's lock screen, in the wallet they already carry, instead of inside another company's app.
- You would rather loyalty be part of the plan than a per-location add-on.
- You want bookings and the loyalty balance on one customer record, with no commission on clients you brought in yourself.
PointVibe and Fresha, answered
For loyalty and repeat visits, yes. PointVibe issues points and stamp loyalty cards as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and adds appointment booking on the same customer record. It is not a marketplace and does not process card payments, so it replaces Fresha's booking and loyalty rather than its payments.
Yes. Bookings are an add-on on PointVibe, so you can run only the wallet loyalty card and keep taking bookings wherever you do today. Staff scan the customer's pass at the counter with the PointVibe scanner app.
Not according to its own pages as of 27 September 2026. Fresha's help center says clients manage loyalty from their Fresha account, and its pricing page lists Client Loyalty as an add-on without mentioning wallet passes.
No. Your booking page is on your own link, and there is no commission on a client you brought in yourself.
