RETAIL & BOUTIQUES

Reward the $80 basket, not just the visit

In retail the whole point is basket size, and a stamp card cannot tell the difference between a pair of socks and a winter coat. Points can. And because the card sits in the wallet they already open at the counter, there is nothing to find in a handbag.

Switches on

What you get on day one

  • Points loyalty, proportional to the basket

  • Geofencing for main street or a centre
Stays hidden

What you never have to look at

  • An appointment calendar

  • A cancellation waitlist

Built for other trades. You will not be asked to configure any of it, and it will not clutter your nav.

A DAY ON THE FLOOR

What it looks like on an ordinary day

9:30am

Doors open. A coupon you scheduled last week goes live and lands on the lock screens of everyone in the slipping away group.

12:10pm

A $92 sale. Points land in proportion, and the customer sees the balance move before the bag is packed.

4:00pm

Somebody walks past the shop with your pass in their wallet. The geofence you drew last month puts a line on their lock screen.

5:45pm

You check the reward panel. One reward is marked needs help, with a suggestion to lower the threshold by ten per cent.

The Numbers

Four things worth watching

Not a dashboard of forty charts. These are the ones that change what you do next week.

Average basketBy customer group, so VIPs and newcomers are not averaged together.
Repeat rateHow many first-time buyers ever come back, which is the number that decides the year.
Gift card floatLoaded, spent and still outstanding.
Reward performanceWhich offers are working, which are ignored, and what to change.
FAQ

Questions from your trade

Points. Basket sizes vary too much for a stamp card to be fair, and a points balance on the card gives customers a reason to come back for the bigger purchase rather than the smaller one.

Yes. A reward can apply to the whole basket, a single item, or an entire category, so you can push the lines you actually want to move rather than discounting everything.

A supported point of sale can pass sales through as loyalty activity automatically, with each location mapped to the matching location. Anything else can post through the API, or staff can simply scan the pass alongside the sale.

Set your structure at the start. A pass can run across every location or be limited to some, each member has a home location, and managers can be scoped to just their own site.
